The service
RentLedger HQ helps landlords record rent charges and payments, and creates ledgers, receipts and worksheets from information you enter. It does not collect rent, transfer money, screen tenants or connect to your bank. We are not a bank, a payment processor, a property manager or a law firm.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the amounts, dates and descriptions you record and for the documents you give to tenants, courts or tax authorities.
- Rent, late fees, receipts and notices are governed by your lease and by state and local law. Charge only what your lease and the law allow.
- You are responsible for keeping tenants' personal information on your devices and in your files secure, and for backing up your data.
Pro subscription
Pro is billed monthly in advance through Stripe. See the refund and cancellation policy.
Not legal or tax advice
Guides, templates and the Schedule E worksheet are general information, not legal, accounting or tax advice. Ask an attorney or tax professional about your situation.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including that a court, a tenant or a tax authority will accept a document made with it. To the extent permitted by law, Grizzly Logic LLC is not liable for losses arising from use of the service, including lost data, unpaid rent or tax penalties.
